Can anyone suggest a source of batteries for emergency lights?

It depends what type of batteries you need
lead-acid or Ni-cads
AllBatteries Olds Approach Watford
can make bespoke Nicads for you, not sure if Phil put their details in the FAQ
CPC are quite good on sealed lead-acid batteries
