Sebo spares

The motor in our Sebo X1 vacuum cleaner has failed (quite spectactularly, too, judging from the clouds of smoke & burning smell).

Sebo seem to want GBP90 for a new one. Any suggestions as to places to look for a cheaper one?

All the spares suppliers seem to charge about 85 notes, and item

180027378554 on eBay is about the same. You will probably need to look at the second hand/used spares market if you don't want to pay for a new motor. Your local Freecycle might be worth trying.

Oh, well. thanks. It is about 13 years old, and the first serious failure, so not *too* horrid.
