Have a moulded plastic badge with round studs which protrude from the back, go through what it's mounted on and are secured by a push on washer thingie with spring fingers in the middle which grip the plastic stud. What are these called and where to buy a few? Had a look at Toolstation and Screwfix without success.
Star washers.
S'fix/TS don't do them. eBay will probably something.
RS just call them "push on fasteners". Example part number 172-420
It's not what I'd call a star washer. That has a clearance hole in the middle and is designed to lock a nut on a thread. There's no thread or nut with this - the 'washer' does the gripping.
Looking on Ebay under star washer turned up some, described as 'starlock'.
Searching on that brought up loads - so thanks for the clue.
Sorry, brain fart. Starlock is actually what I was aiming for when I typed that!
