Removing paint from flower bed

I've had a very nice guy in to paint the outside of the house. (Not very DIY, I admit) He has burnt off all the old flaking paintwork. Unfortunately, a fair bit has ended up in the flower bed. Is there any way to get this out apart from getting down on hands and knees and picking it out piece by piece?

Hoover it out or rake it in. Or a little top dressing of peat and lawn clippings.

Leave it - the worms will turn the soil over in a few weeks.

Ignore it for a while and the stuff will vanish into the soil.

Dress the bed with a layer of mulch.

My experience is that it is still there for ages. I have mulched it in the past, but it reappears as soon as you turn the soil over.

I'll try and get the worst out, then ignore the rest.
