It's full of steam engines in a secret siding, so no space for any electric cables and any that appear to go through are just dummies so that they can put up big fences and security systems to make sure no one gets in to look.

Total bollocks, the only need for space around them is for cooling. I posted about this hours ago but the post appears to have disappeared in the ether.

Bury them in sandy soil that dries out in summer and you can blackout a good proportion of a city like Auckland - 1998 CBD cable on google finds lots of hits.
