Re: 'L' shaped bath anybody?

I know this is an unusual query but has anyone seen a 'L' shaped bath on

Install two showers side by side, one with the normal temperature control and with only a cold water supply. Then every time they argue, they get to use the cold shower. :-))

No, seriously though. I've personally never seen of heard of, or seen, anyone who makes an "L" shaped bath, although I may be proved wrong, so I think the idea of the bath and shower tray is your best bet.

There was a bloke selling two at the car boot sale at Dewsbury RL ground last Sunday.

That probably is no help, but I can get a phone number from him if he's there this week (and still has them) if you want.

Corner baths are quite common place these days. Mine is 1300mm x 1500mm, I seem to remember a corner bath 1500mm x 1500mm in one of the brochures when I was looking. Have you tried asking in your local bathroom specialist?

Do you mean a shower bath? Wider by the taps so that end is more shower sized, but normal bath width at the bottom? B and Q do one at 1700 x (690-800) for 200 quid

We have one. If you're slightly on the rotund side, the extra space in the shower end is wonderful - every other shower I've been in since has felt cramped - even when on my own! :-)

We got ours from the local plumbers merchants.

Only possible downsides(s):

1) The bath is slightly shorted than a normal one. Good if you have a small bathroom, bad if you want to wallow.

2) The taps are on the "outside" long (curved) edge. You may or may not find this a problem.

Have a look at Cabuchon baths, for a small bath-IMERSA range. I'm managing to get shower/bath/toilet/whb into 1.7 x 2.2M. Regards Capitol
