Rayburn Novelle Gas Cooker/Boiler

Morning, I have had a Rayburn for a number of years and have been very happy. This week-end I was reading the Customer Guide and I noticed that when the cooker is on 'low', that the cooker should run at about 120 degrees, yet ours runs at 150 degrees!! This is far too high and apart from the excess heat this time of year, has clearly been wasting money. I would like to change this. I have tried in the past to get a Rayburn Service engineer and it has proved impossible, so is it within the scope of of normal DIY for me to be able to adjust the temperature on 'Low' so that it runs at the correct temperature? If so, any idea how it is to be done. Also, I suspect that I need a new thermocouple(?) as the cooker boiler will no longer light, is this a standard part available from any central heating shop, or will I need to get one from Rayburn? Many Thanks Paul
