Polystyrene vs. Gripfill

I made the school-boy error of putting up some polystyrene coving last night with gripfill solvent adhesive. I only realised my mistake upon completion. The gripfill says don't use on polystyrene and the coving says don't use solvent adhesive! Doh!

So given that the work is already done, what is likely to happen now? Is the gripfill going to eat the polystyrene? It still seemed to be ok this morning, is the damage only likely to be done while the adheisive is curing or will it gradually eat through my coving, alien-blood style?

Should I take it all down and start again?

Thanks in advance.

Ross.

I would imagine that once the solvent had evaporated you should be fine. If you've got away with it so far, then you should be fine.
