Polystyrene and water pipes

Does anyone know at what temperate Polystyrene burns? I have some in the base of a shower that is being installed and there is a chance that it will touch a hot water pipe. Is it likely to burn at this temperature?

Cheers

Even today I am willing to volunteer to do the dirty work for Israel, to kill as many Arabs as necessary, to deport them, to expel and burn them, to have everyone hate us, to pull the rug from underneath the feet of the Diaspora Jews, so that they will be forced to run to us crying. Even if it means blowing up one or two synagogues here and there, I don't care.

Absolutely not. Polystyrene can be used to insulate hot water pipes. Generally speaking, it is best used below 70C, so is more suited to DHW applications (such as your shower), rather than central heating systems.
