Pipe joins iin walls

Installing a new soil pipe connection for a loo today, I got to thinking.... The joint between the internal pipe that runs from the loo and the elbow that connects this to a branch which runs to the soil stack, will end up being buried in a wall. Now I know this must happen often, and I have never had a push fit waste connector leak in the past, but the ramifications of leak should one occur are obviously undesirable!

Is it usual to take any additional precautions to protect/seal the pipe joint in these situations? If so, what is recommended?

(the wall construction is approx 1" render -> galvanised steel expanded metal lath -> tilers felt -> 3/4" shuttering ply -> 5" PIR foam -> over

1/2" plasterboard, and finally tiles)

I can't quite visualise this geometry. If you're nervous, might solvent-weld be an option?

I would test the pipe before Istarted blocking it in, and make damm sure I didn't wack a nail through it.

I've got a WC waste with just that situation, for exactly the same reason. I installed it about 5 years ago, been ok since, I'm sure it will continue to, it's not like the joint can move, which is where problems seem to occur with push fit.
