Perhaps OT. Can anyone idedntify this machine

My apologies if this is OT and the message is crossposted. A quest really. I received a birthday card today and a request that I identify the machine on that card. This from a bloke I've known for 40 years. I also send him questing on occasion. Scan is here (I hope):

think it agricultural rather than industrial. Could be forestry or something entirely different, I dont know. A rear end pic given the lamps. Wing is squared off which either indicates some age or perhaps an import. Could be a handler or front loader but there is little detail, not enough for positive id. I have a Sanderson f/lift which is somewhat similar but that is way too old for this.

I think the photo is from the UK. The little gadget over the RHS indicator baffles me, possibly a keeper for light guards which are long gone Come on, get your thinking caps on.

Many thanks,

Nick.

The duck or the twig?

Looks like the duck is telling his life story and is boring the pants off the cat. And he didn't even buy him a round, either.

It could be a diesel powered welder.

Ah, I was thinking of a forklift, industrial type with a vertical mast

Not sure, but this one is an over-shoulder-boulder-holder

Duck can be quite a rich meat.

It might be a duck filled farty puss.
