Parcel.

Took in a parcel for next door. Fairly common since they are both out at work so I didn't even look at it. UK Mail.

But it wasn't for them.

House number and street were for next door, but not the name or postcode. Postcode was for the other end of the street. And a Flat 3.

Now there are very few houses in this street big enough for three flats, so decided to have a look at the other end of the street. Three houses are indeed in three flats - but all A,B & C. And none with a number that could have been a typo.

The card UK Mail left next door had no contact details for them.

Parcel is quite large and heavy. And I've signed for it. ;-)

Is there a sender's postcode etc you could google and find out if it's from Axminster or Love Honey before you meet the neighbours?

It might be worth asking Flat B and Flat C in case the "Flat 3" is a typo or misheard on the phone. As for the number - I have had christmas cards delivered to me at No.4 because someone had written 21 in a curly intersecting script, or from 41 because the 1 looked like a comma.

Given that its plowperson obviously since 'all property is theft' the thing to do is hang on to it, and let whoever ordered it get a new one via complaints etc.

'Given' 'obviously' 'since'? Did you go to the same school as Wodney?

Why are you so obsessed with gay marriage you include it as a sig?

How odd that Tim Streater never picks him up for piss poor spullung and gramma.

I think I'd give it back to the carrier. they must have some records of it, and even if not can probably legally open it for clues.

Does seem a bit strange that they delivered it when the details aare obviously incorrect. sounds like a driver who just wanted to get rid of it.

I would, but there's no contact details on either the printed label on the parcel or the card they left next door.

Of course. They're generally self employed with this sort of organisation, and time is money.

Slowley and in a large pan.

Not that I'm an expert on cooking but I do watch masterchef.

Perhaps the delivery Co. will have recorded where they left it? In which case the purchaser has an opportunity of retrieval through a complaint to the sender.

After a working week or so, I think you could reasonably open the package to look for an invoice or packing slip.

Axminster?

Are they the ones who do wall to wall car petting?

I assume you've spoken to your neighbour and checked they aren't expecting something for someone else who messed up the address?

I'd think so since they have one of those hand terminals.

I've been to the UK Mail site and left a message explaining things. But not even had an automated reply acknowledging receipt of that. They did have a phone number to contact, but couldn't be arsed with that.

I like what Kingsley Amis had to say - that all children are permanently drunk (accounts for their behaviour) and all women half-drunk.

Actually women are for most of their lives, high on drugs. Female hormones, as are men, on testosterone.

The 'triumph' of feminism is to affirm that men are, but deny that women are.

Right. It's of no importance to you, but you wish to ridicule those to whom it is. What a lovely person you are.
