Paint for murals/kids themed rooms

Anyone know of any brand names for decent acrylic paints that are opaque after one coat and are good to apply?

I bought a couple of pots of acrylic from B&Q recently and it was watery rubbish - even after three coats the yellow wouldn't cover a pale blue background.

P.S. For the rainbow in one room we used Dulux Trade colour samplers. They are cheap, good quality, mixed to order, and come in much larger pots than those hopeless consumer testers with the built in brushes. Ideal if you need small amounts of many colours for a mural/kid's room.

Thanks Christian.

I forgot to mention that I was looking for fairly small quantities in a variety of bright colours so that would be ideal.

There's lots of acrylic paint sets on Ebay but I've no idea what's good and what's B&Q watery rubbish.

Try normal paint mixed with poster paint (or water colours if you get those form the poundshop)
