Which sadly weakens their argument.
Well, I think that the earth is to some extent self regulating, but there is one thing that is proven, as climate warms it is not uniform and this drives more extreme weather to dissipate the heat. Nobody can say that all of this has not happened before of course, but last time it was before humans were here, so unless you can find a very long lived animal...
