OT - uses for 3.5 * 30mm turbo gold?

On my third bulk pack of turbogold screws from Screwfix and I'm accumulating a stock of 3.5 * 30mm and 4 * 30mm.

There most be something that requires 30mm screws :-)

Cheers

Screwing down flooring perhaps (just) I think turbo gold are self counter sinking so your could sink them in a bit below the surface.

They will be sharp enough to penetrate pipes and cable too!!

Maybe you need to advertise as maybe someone is short of those and has loads of the ones you need!

Quite handy in furniture making...

Probably not bad for door hinges either.

I use them, but not often. The one time I priced up those multipacks, they worked out costing more per 1000 than buying the boxes separately.

DIY heart surgery is much frowned upon, and 30mm screws seem far too big for the job anyway.

The beating heart thing is exactly what it's there for - a still heart is quite bad news.
