OT: unable to access Lidl website

Hi, for the last week or so I have been unable to access the

web site, in fact any of the Lidl sites.

I am using Pipex broadband, a mate of mine using Griffin is able to access the site.

What I would like to know is if anyone else having this problem.

I'm also on Pipex and it works fine in both IE and Firefox for me.

I get back a "Cannot find Server" message.

I also get the same for

who happen to be my news providers.

Bizarre or what?

The DNS servers that I have been allocated are 62.241.162.200 and 158.43.240.3

Are they the same for you?

Got to be some sort of DNS error, but where?

It's possible your router's routing table has eaten up all its memory (this happens on some D-Links abd 3-Coms). Try switching it off and back on again.

Try these two URLs: http://160.44.70.6/http://216.40.6.9/If they work, then your/pipex's DNS is broken. What happens?

So it might be a routing problem then?

Could be. Try opening up a command prompt box (cmd.exe) and run "telnet

80" - does that work? If so, it's your browser. If not, then sounds like a routing problem. What kind of router/modem do you have?

When I say "does that work", it should give a blinking cursor if it does. Otherwise it'll say "Connecting to

" and then give an error message.

comes up for me as a server farm at 160.44.70.4-7. try those directly and see what happens. I can access it either way from here. Comes up as the German site though!

http://160.44.70.4/gb/index.nsf/pages/i.home gives the UK site.

I'm using a Sonicwall SoHo2 firewall connected to a D-Link DSL-300G+ with the Sonicwall doing all the connecting and D-Link set for pass through.

Try a tracert to the sites. From a command window, type tracert

and see where the thing stops responding.

and used their free tools. I appears that there is problem with both lidl.com and newscene.com
