You mean they gave that aircraft that serial number in 1987 so that 18 years later it could be hijacked? Rather than the more logical giving a serial number because that is the next one in line? Or are you suggesting that the man who allocates serial numbers at Boeing stopped that aircraft being produced until that serial number was available then put it into production, just so it would get the right serial number to be hijacked? Or the hijackers waited until that particular aircraft was available to hijack before they executed their plan?

NY is obvious ; Q33 is obviously the 33rd quarter of the year, counting from some date of significance. 33 quarters is 8 years and a quarter. So the significant date is between 1993-09-10 and 1993-12-11 (I may have an off-by-one error in here). World Trade Center bombing (February 26, 1993) --- doesn't fit.
