OT: Specific terms for search engines

Sorry for being OT but hoping to tap the collective wisdom of the gurus here :-)

Our favourite restaurant closed down many moons ago and we haven't found a comparable place yet to replace it. It was an 'old-fashioned, proper' restaurant, where people would get dressed up to go there - not DJs or tuxes, but shirt and tie or a suit. People treated it as a 'special' night out.

Nowadays, all that seems to be available are pubs that serve food. Don't get me wrong, the food is often very, very good but it's still just a pub that does food and you get the pub atmosphere, ie, kids running round or wailing at the tops of their voices and everybody just in normal, everyday clothes. I'm just a jeans and tee-shirt kind of guy myself so I'm not complaining about that, just that I miss the 'specialness' of putting on your Sunday-best and going to a 'proper' restaurant.

So, just what _exact_ terms would I have to enter into Google to come up with 'proper' restaurants within, say, 10 miles of a post code, that would reliably _exclude_ pubs that do food?

TIA
