OT: quick reminder to thunderbird users seeing more than the normal collection of under bridge dwellers

k makes the whole thread vanish, and shift k (on TB3 or later) makes a sub thread vanish...

(when you switch away from the group and return)

We call it 'captive bolt' in The Shed.

Some we play with until we get tired of them, but this one, no. One really doesn't want to get the hands dirty, and besides, the smell lingers.

You can do it automagically by creating a filter from one of is messages and ignoring subthread from there. You'll never see him again.

On Live Mail, it's Tools / Safety Options / Blocked Senders (doesn't get rid of old threads though)
