OT - 'er indoors

Everybody knows that SWMBO comes from Rider Haggard's yarn "She". I find out today (from the Times) that the expression "her indoors" was used

2300 years ago in the tragedy "Oedipus Rex" by Sophocles - though probably in Greek:-)
