The Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm will apparently generate income:
"The Hornsea 1 project was given a contract in 2014 guaranteeing it a price of £140 for every megawatt-hour of power it generates for 15 years - more than three times the current market price of power."
And now Hornsea 2 is approved for construction.
What was the cost of power generated by Hinckley Point going to be? £92.50 per mega-watt hour. And people complained about that. This could get interesting.
