Heh heh. He'll be driving a G-Wizz next!
It did cross my mind. The celebrity craving for attention. But in the Guardian? Socialists have no sense of humour.

Wake up moments are often good things, but this looks desperate and pathetic

Checked the calendar today?
I suspect Harry hasn't......
"He plans to boost the campaign by founding a charity to garner support for a 20mph speed limit on most British roads, rising to 45mph on motorways and dual carriageways."
Crossed your mind? :-)
I wonder what right wingers have no sense of!
HE'S A GUARDIAN READER - OF COURSE NOT
Regards,
I suspect Harry hasn't......
On 01 Apr 2015, "harryagain" grunted:
Have a look at the video clip which features a not-very-good Clarkson lookalike.
IMHO the Guardian rather spoiled the joke by allowing their web-bot thingy to display a link to "April Fools' Day jokes 2015 - the best from around the world" alongside their Clarkson spoof
The county councils seem to be doing that job ...
Where you have a single carriageway NSL road a car (max 60mph) can get stuck behind a lorry (max 40mph) then you have a stretch of dual carriageway (max 70mph for the car and 50mph for the lorry, or 60 mph from next week) so you can overtake ... except that now they seem to be putting 50mph limits on the dual carriageway, so you can't overtake ... idiots.

Sigh. Check the date.
It makes no difference. You can rarely overtake anyway because the lorry you are stuck behind overtakes the one in front of it taking the whole length of the dual carriageway section to crawl past as it can only manage one MPH faster than the other!

PS brilliant wind up!
A perfect descrption of the A1 in most of Yorkshire
El Reg has an even better one which harry would also believe.
you wait until they put cyclce highways down the roads and you're stuck behind a very slow cyclist.
It is however April 1st. Brian
I am heartily sick of all the "Clarkson" threads, all long and as empty as the man himself. I, for one am heartily sick of all the hype given to celebrities.
All except this little gem which he wouldn't: "....radiation levels are actually higher in most of the USA than they are in the towns near Fukushima Dai'ichi."

And the date today is...?
