But they aren't measuring how much ice there is only the extent of it. You need to measure how much there is not how much area it covers.
Its just some more climate change BS and not proper science.
Indeed there was a spokeswoman on the radio today, saying how the last year's 41% increase has merely made up for the past three years of 13% losses their data shows, and went on to say if they had more than 5 years data she'd expect the 41% wouldn't make up for the losses in years prior to their data ... it didn't strike me as very scientific to make pronunciations based on data they know they don't have ...
