ot: Any idea what generated this super univeral joint animation?

's an animated .gif but there are so many .gif generators out there. It'd be nice to be able to diy such good animations :-) Most I've found so far build natural scenes, forests, waterfalls etc rather than mechanical devices such as this one. Thanks
