Old Corvec Britony II A boiler problem

Hi guys. the pilot on this hot water boiler is on but when the hot water is demanded, there is no activity.

Anyone have any suggestions? Many thanks in advance.

have you got the original instructions? if not i will send them to you, it includes a fault finding guide

i emailed to lavenders and mshabir

have a look near the end of document in the fault fining section. it does say some things about burner not igniting and water pressure etc

Changed the diaphram this morning. Disconected the gas/water section and replaced the diaphram. Took out the plastic section above and lubricated the needle. It then worked when reassembled. Let's hope it lasts. If it's worked then a =A34 repair isn't bad.

Couldn't believe how "simple" these old boilers are without all the modern stuff. I mean no complicated gas valve, no fan, no electrics and it's lasted about 20 years so far.
