Oil leak onto new block paving

Wife's old car is dripping a couple of drops of oil per day. Won't be an easy fix - it wasn't noticed on the old tarmac - but sticks out like a black blob on our new block paving.

I want and easy way of getting my wife to put something fairly unobtrusive in the right place under the car when she parks up. Old door mat being tried - but I get called out to put it "in the right place"

Any innovative ideas?

Put it in the right place and leave it there? Or doesn't she always park on the same bit of drive or even if she does park on the same bit of drive it's so erratic you'd need a door mat 6' square.

Easy way to get rid of the stains on the block work is to put neat washing up liquid on them work in a bit with a scrubbing brush and leave. The rain will was it away and the oil.

When I was very small, on a day out to the seaside, my bucket (as in bucket and spade) was commandeered to by hung under the car, to catch the oil. Admittedly, that leak was large enough to require several stops between London and Southend, for the oil to be tipped back into the engine.

Perhaps you could adapt that idea and hang a drip mat under the car?
