Mixed Shower Pump

this correct... My cold water tank is above the toilet, in this cupboard. The hot water tank is on the floor beneath a kitchen worktop. Actually I'm not sure as I haven't seen it. Are there cold and hot water tanks? Cold tank is above the hot tank, that's why cold pressure is greater than hot pressure?

Basically my hot water pressure is crap. Because the hot tank is one the floor, pressure is to low for a shower. So I'm thinking I fit the above device and I can boost the hot water pressure, right?

Thanks

The static pressure from the hot system is not dependent on the position of the hot water cylinder. It is dependent on the water level in its cold feeder tank. The flow rate may be poor because of low static pressure, or because of excessive friction losses due to long runs of inadequete pipework.

Your cold system may be better either because the pipe runs are shorter, or it is connected to the mains.

Before you decide what to do, you must determine if your cold water supply is from the mains. If so, then you should buy a single impellor pump and pump only the hot side. Otherwise, you need either a twin impellor pump, or to convert your cold water system to mains operation. The pump you have found is twin impellor.
