Mira 415EV drips when other taps turned on.

Ey up.

Our Mira EV shower has started dripping when another tap in the bathroom is turned on. It's a pressure balanced valve, so does this mean that something is going wrong in it?

TIA. M.

Yes, you need to get a new cartarige £60 at plumbcenter.

Surely the way to go would be to acquire a service kit for about £10 and replace all the O ring seals ? These are much more likely to have failed than the cartridge. Always worked for me in the past.

Is this a common thing to happen to a 4 year old 415 ?

Don't all Mira's come with a five year guarantee? Mine did. It's worth the cost of a phone call to find out if MIRA can help.

Hi

Ours definitely had a five year warranty as we're moving house at the moment and the warranty card for the shower valve was one of the documents we included in the bundle for the buyer.
