Miele spare parts

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a specialist Miele spare parts website?

I'm talking about buttons and springs level of spares, not bags and attachments...

Or is this going to be a case of phoning them on Monday?

My hoover has a broken dustbag door and (more annoying) the button cap that allows the suction tube to extend has fallen off in 2 parts.

Both at the result of a hard life and will take 10 seconds to fix if I can get the parts.

I have googled and googled and have not yet found the equivalent of the Bosch diagrams+fiddly bits website :(

Cheers

Tim

Have you tried calling them? The top elbow on ours broke a year or so back and they sent a new one in the post FOC. I thought it was under warranty but according to them it wasn't - it was a clearance model which had apparently been lying around in Currys, probably why it was so cheap!

Phone up the Miele service department and ask for a quote, and get the part number. Then stuff the part number into google and ebay.co.uk, ebay.fr and ebay.de (search each one separately). If available, you'll probably find most of the sources are in Germany.

Previously I've found useful Miele repair info here (in French):

Thanks both. I shall call them next week. Nice trick about ebay - I will be sure to ask for part numbers.

All done...

Got a button on order, the part number for the door/cover (which is so hideosuly expensive, I'll try searching online with the part number) and the bloke is emailing me a parts diagram for the whole thing :)
