Kitchen unit plinth clips

Hi

I'm planning on returning the plinth to the wall on a couple of sides of our kitchen units.

The plinth clips provided don't provide the right spacing for the plinth face to be flush with the side panel. Does anyone know if these come in different dimensions, and where to get them as a loose item?

Thanks IanC

15mm, 22mm or 28mm screw on plastic pipe clips do the same job for cheaper money. If you have the big thick legs on your base units then some of the waste pipe clips fit these. Just find out which diameter is closest to the legs of your base units and because the pipe clips can spread out more then the actual plinth clips they hold on tighter if they are just that bit smaller diameter.

I can't see them at IL. It was the first place I looked and I was a bit surprised they weren't there. I imagine Woodfit do them too, but my catalogue has gone on temporary walkabout with a colleague.

I vaguely remember a design I once saw/used where the spring bit could slot into one of two 'housings' on the part that attaches to the plinth, so you could fit 15mm or 18mm board. Maybe these will sort me out if I find them.

The B+Q ones look like those I already have, but I'll pick a pack up to see if they're different.

Thanks IanC

Hi

Thanks for the idea. I'll look at them. Simply metal Terry clips are another thing I'll try if I can't find anything specced to fit the dimensions I have.

Cheers IanC
