Anyone here ever work or worked for Jarvis?

They are the people who had such a bad railtrack record. I'm listening to an horror story of fraud by the directors on R4 at the moment. Quite a few contractors working on schools in Liverpool had had to put larger bids in and give the directors a large portion of it.

I wonder how the Railtrack people managed to get wind of it just in time to dump them.

They remodelled 70 schools with shoddy work due to late payment of bills. No contact has been made with the police over this so far.

The firm i work for do civils ( contract ) jobs for Jarvis highways all around Cheshire. I do belive they have ripped us off when delivering stock to our yard to be used on civils jobs. I was offered a job with them at there street lighting yard in Northwich but declined the offer as i didnt fancy it due to personal reasons. I do know they may have a vacancy for an apprentice if anybody knows sumone who might be looking for such work.

Apparently, it's more complicated than they thought to fix the broken pump!
