I get all the easy jobs....

Cornicing around the edge is no problem. Even my small set of ladders would extend and rest against the wall, allowing me to get to 13'.

So do you recommend building a wall in the middle of the room to do the centre?

It's an option. I'd use Lego.

I was just pointing out that the presence of cornicing is no barrier to using long poles and rollers for the rest of the ceiling, as the cornice is easy to access by other methods..

Duplo would be better - bigger bricks, go up quicker.

And there was I thinking that you had an intellectual build!

I'll take another look at the foam-in-canoe post again, imagining someone rather larger than I had before.

Yes, but try getting shirts or jeans or overalls for Spouse in Aldi - at nine stone six dripping wet there's space for two of him in their smallest sizes!

But they don't stick together as well. I have about 40Kg of lego here. That's got to be enough. :)

I don't, there could only be one of him and that's all I want or need :-)

I imagine it must be bloody awkward writing programs using a paint roller, too.
