To ruddy true, mostly total nonsense without a tread of reason or logic behind it !

That would suit IMM. 'Slightly' soon translates into 'vastly' in what passes for his brain.

With synthetic oils you don't need more frequent oil changes. You jus change at the makers change tiems. In practrice you can double th change intervals using synthetic oils with normal driving

The second wouldn't surprise me given how easily you're taken in by adverts and maker's figures.

Seen its MPG on an Autocar long term test? Rather worse than a diesel of similar performance but a fraction of the price. And that's before you take into account the repair costs. I shudder to think what the batteries cost per year as an average.

A bit unusual for the owner of a car over 30 years old to employ a chauffeur.

That sounds much more like dIMM - the unthinking mans gesture towards saving the planet by transfering the pollution from the exhaust pipe to the power station. Lugging all that weight around actually wastes energy but perhaps not so much as a DB6.

If this is true then it will be relatively easy to track down the real name and whereabouts of dIMM aka John B. Curtis. There can't be more than one person in the country with both a DB6 and a Prius.:-)
