How to fix upvc quadrant?

When I had the windows fitted a couple of months back I told the fitters to leave the quadrant between the window frame and the window sill in my kitchen cause I intended to re-tile the kitchen. I've now tiled (a whole number of tiles on the window sill left me with a gap of less than 1cm between the tiles and window frame) and I am ready to put the quadrant into place. But how? I can't tell from the other windows if the only thing holding the quadrant in place is the sealant, or if there is something else doing the actual bonding.

Also, though the qaudrant will cover the gap with plenty to spare should I still fill the gap with something first?

A form of superglue holds the quadrant to the frame and the sealant just finishes it off. Obtainable as ordinary superglue for plastic from any of the 'sheds'

When they did mine trims were held in place just with the sealant

Superglue's the quickest and easiest method for bonding uPVC.

Just sealent they left me a tube when i wanted to do the same thing.

Use an exterior frame sealant in the Kitchen

My Daughter's house, which I am working on, had cowboys fit the windows by the previous owner. As I refurbish each room I have to fix the windows, and my preferred method is to use sealant to fit the trim, it is neat and secure, with the added advantage that if you had to remove it for any reason that would be fairly straight forward.
