How can you move a fridge without damaging the flooring?

It asks for a postcode or town so that it can work out which "regional" special offers apply to your area, and filter out the ones that don't. Quite useful, compared to the previous set-up, where all offers were presented, and you had to wade through them. It might not be *wonderful* if you live between two equidistant shops between "regions", though!

I usually cut small squares of old carpet and leave one under each foot of the appliance., shaggy side down. Longer the pile the better. Saves trying to remember where the glide pads have been stored. Bigger squares of carpet can be used for ad-hoc appliance moving.

Slide a strip of hardboard or metal under the feet and then slide it out. Ensure it is not gritty. Used method for TV Set and Washing machine
