Halogen spots + loft insulation

Is it ok to cover the spots in the loft with Rockwool? cant seem to find any info on covering them up to stop draughts on the web.

You can get special pots to cover them - in case of overheating they extinguish fire.

Lights yes, but you are sposed to put flower pots over them for fire resistance.

What you get with expensive intumescent ones is that you make the holes as fire resistant as a plastered ceiling, to comply with regs. I'm not sure if the same rules apply between habitable rooms and between the top floor and the loft.

You need the hole to get the wires out. Stuff it with fireclay later.
