Our external gas meter is around a metre away from the combi boiler. Is it considered acceptable to earth bond the gas pipe to the rest of the copper pipes (F/R, mains cold and DHW) rather than running a length of earth wire right across to the opposite corner of the house providing the copper cold water feed (domestic side of water main) is bonded to the earthing terminal at fuse box?
All plumbing in the house is copper except for the UFH pipes from the manifold to each zone.
Cheers Pete
