Fulcrum Connections ( Gas meter lay infrastructure)

Hello

Can some one please help me out here. I have recently (five months ago) applied for a gas supply to a property I bought, for some reason the gas meter had been taken out. Fulcrum came out looked at the property, said I needed a new pipe laying, gave me a quote, I paid.

when the contractor came out, he made up some stupid excuses, one of them being that the inside wall was being plastered (the mete is going on the external wall) and he also said that the pipe needs to run through a neighbours property and council planning & consent it required (next door is vacant I don't know who the owner is). why didn't he tell me this before in the last five months I've been waiting.

Is there another company I can contact, any legal procedure, pls advise.

regards Aje

Presumably when you first made contact with Fulcrum, you were sent an application pack on which you were asked to draw a diagram etc?.

True it can be cumbersome dealing with Fulcrum. What is the current position then? is the job cancelled/pending/half done or what?.

You perhaps need to recontact Fulcrum and ask the current position.
