It's a HBOL...........The carb will never run again....
Far better to take an angle grinder to it

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember "RW" saying something like:
You'd be wrong - one series of books that Haynes got very right were the carburettor ones, I'm thinking especially of the SU.
Paper would clog up the disc.

The Haynes specialist manuals are generally pretty good. The car electrics one especially so.
