Freezer door seal replacement

I'd like to replace the door seal on the freezer (only) door on a Hotpoint Ice diamond. All I can find is a "cut yer own", like this...

bit expensive at ~£38.

Anyone know where I can get either a shorter length of seal or the proper thing? Thanks

Would finding an old freezer and ripping the seal off and cut to size work?

Do you know if your fridge has replaceable seals? Most modern ones don't (the whole door is the minimum replaceable part).

Try CPC, but you will have to call as most white goods spares are not in their catalogue or on the website - 01772 654455 IME, they've been very good (and cheap) on Hotpoint parts.

Be careful, I think the seal is glued to the door. Also, if the freezer compartment is at the bottom, stick your hand under it. If it is wet this means insulation failure. The iced diamond range were notorious for this.
