fixing mixer tap

The tap's hot water side has stopped working , - very little or no flow. I am not sure if its ceramic or not . It needs about a full 360 turn normally for full off to full on. Is it a new one or can I fix it ?? thanks Nick

A make and model might be more help on this. Or, if you can take the head gear off, tell us what's inside the thing.

have had the top off and replaced the half inch washer . No Joy. The headset is larger than a standard one I bought . I cant find the tap make or model anywhere and its about 5 years old. I think the ? jumper is sticking in the seat and blocking the tap from opening ???? Nick

Sorry, I don't recognise it either I'm afraid. :( Have you tried opening the tap on fully and blowing back up the spout? It made be something lodged in the tap or the pipework feeding it.

If that fails, try pressing the palm of your hand tightly over the spout end and turning both hot and cold taps on together. Hopefully this might also clear anything lodged in the head gear. Keep the spout in its middle position to do this, like it's shown in your picture.
