Experience of Toolstation.com??

Just heard about them, used Screwfix uptil now- would consider trying toolstation if you guys have good experiences of them?

Brilliant. Have ordered several times and have received excellent service each time. They are considerably cheaper than Screwfix; and unlike them, don't have a website which shuts down for 23 hrs out of 24.

I think they still have a no-minimum order charge for free delivery at the moment, which is good. Their only disadvantage AFAICS is that their range is not a patch on Screwfix's, although it's growing (but so is - or was! - Screwfix's)

24 hour delivery(don't know if this is standard) and when I rang to say they had sent wrong item, the correct one was there 24 hours later. Doubt that I will bother with SF again while free delivery is available.

Many thanks all. I'll probably give them a whirl, they are alittle cheaper than the likes of screwfix for most things it would seem! :)

So far so good. Did have had one product that was of such poor quality it was unusable, but they were hapy to refund it. Generally I'd say screwfix items are of better quality, but the toolstation stuff does the job ok, and some is way less than screwfix.

I've not ordered online with them, but popped into their Bristol branch a few times as it is near me. Stock availability at this branch has been a problem on some items, but they are cheap and for the odd thing where Screwfix is cheaper they will pricematch.
