Excellent Nut& Bolts supplier

I needed a number of larger size bolts

20 M16 x 140 grade 8.8 Galvanized 30 M10 x 150 grade 8.8 BZP plus nuts, lockwashers washers etc.

Plus some assorted smaller BZP bolts & nyloc nuts.

Googling around the prices were awful unless you bought in boxes of 100. Also local trade outlet quoted me £27 for the M16 bolts alone

I found PARKER Tools website ... and I found them SUPERB to deal with. snipped-for-privacy@parkersteel.co.uk

I had bought from local Parker depot, shovel, barrows etc. but not much else.

In this case you can buy exactly the number of bolts, nuts etc you want and you get the pro-rate 100 item price. One set postage charge of £4.95 and all items delivered the next day.

Incl postage saved me over 50% compared to best local price .........

Well worth using if you have a need for large sizes or volume.

If I were having things posted, I'd not be comparing local prices, but national.

And this reads like an advert.

It does a bit - but "Rick Hughes" sounded like a familiar name, and indeed Google Groups shows lots of hits for that name in this group.

(I haven't checked the email address or sending IP address, so it

*could* be a camming spunt, but I don't think that's the way to bet.)

Dave .,.. I'm nothing to do with Parker, I did Google loads of National suppliers .... Parker was best price by far. When I mentioned local suppliers that was because I could collect and save postage. Only National ones who came close were selling in boxes of 100 Even Fleabay was much more expensive

Been an active member of this group since at least Mar 1996 ... I have copies of multiple submissions at that date I made to Matthew Marks for the FAQ at that time.

This is certainly not an advert ..... just thought it could be of use to those on group. Saved me a LOT of money and next day service.

You didn't actually give a URL...just an email address. And I couldn't find small items on the obvious website.

Do you have more information? And can you buy these things over the counter? (I have a Parker Steel about 5 miles away).
