Eric Clapton gets CBE

The first is not that relevant since I live in a constituency where a

7% swing to LibDem would be needed to change anything and Tony's crony polled 17%. Where you imagine that snobbery comes into the discussion I have no idea.

I am delighted!

One of the foundation point of toryism is petty snobbery: hierarchy, aristocracy, hereditary peers, private schools, Oxbridge, etc. They support the whole lot.

I am all of that.

The whole debate has been had at least five times before and all of the possible angles discussed repeatedly and ad nauseam.

All that you do is trot out platitiudes from books by hack journalists that match your preconceived notions and don't add any original thought of your own. I would say that that is pretty dumb.

Tony's man wasn't. He was only just ahead of the Raving Looney candidate.

You seem to be very confused.

I'm quite pleased to see that the daft Xmas period seems to be over and everything here seems to have reverted to normal again.

But the penny hasn't dropped with you. The brainwashing is hard to penetrate.

Not in a million years. I don't suck in propaganda fed by the super rich landowners wanting the status quo.

But I am sure he would appreciate the irony.

Isn't it odd that *you* knew that, and it

had never occurred to me to even consider

his religuious or ethnic orientation...

There is always plenty of money about. It can be printed and hived off in government bonds indefinitely.

Money is not teh issue ultimately. Its the provision of goods and services beynd a countries means to generate them that is the issue.

Traditionally you do this by importation, running up a debt to some other country, and then adjust your currency to rip off the other country and devalue the debt.

This may no longer be possible.

Because in the final analyisis they are just as stupid and venal as the average labour career politician. They usually display slightly more low cunning, and slightly more appreciation of te goose and golden egg analoagy tho.

I have never voted tory or labour in my entire life by the way.
