Fine if you only have a few sizes so know what they are at a glance. Which thinking on is probably the case for most of your jobbing work.

Spot on matey. 3 masonry bits, 5 or 6 augers, 5 flat bits & a few titaniums.

If you also occasionally need to have some tiny drill bits handy, I keep a few in a small plastic pill tub.

Thanks Harry - where do you live :-)

You mean the size of a film canister? Good idea for ameller sizes.

W/N Yorks boundary.

Yes... Just like a 35mm film canister, but longer.

I find it safest to keep a duplicate set of the basic drills in each of my drill cases. That way it does not matter which one I pick up, and what else I have forgotten, I will always have at least some bits!

The SDS, has a small snap shut plastic tube that came with a set of Armeg bits. That is plenty big enough for the addition of some Bosch multi material bits. The cordless drill case just has a zip lock bag with a collection of bits in it - small enough to snuggle down beside the charger.
