I'm happy with 3x 3Ah batteries, can have a couple of tools in use, with a spare on charge, I suppose if you're using the most power hungry LXT tools day-in, day-out you might appreciate the capacity, but the charging time will increase too.

You can probably charge them just as fast, with a new charger.

I use some small 18v one+ ones that are only 1.4 Ahr and haven't had a problem yet.
