YES a series III land rover is fully capable of dragging a one tonne bag of sand down the garden.

YES the tonnne bag WILL split when it gets dragged over hardcore.

YES. one was also "fully capable" of doing some serious damage to my car when its idiot driver decided to reverse without checking his rear 'was clear' first!

Yes, they are built pretty tough. This one has an EX MOD tow bar thingy on it.

Deeply dangerous.

And no brakes. Must have lost the fluid somewhere.

Mine had a heater - it had three settings:

Off - Still Off - It Must Be On Because It Says So

What really helped was fitting a new blower motor and sealing up the leaks in the heater tubing junctions.
