You have obviously never heard the saying "When in a hole stop digging".

I have never bought anything from Cornwall Electricals, and after seeing your replies in this group I doubt I ever will. Many people do a Google groups search for names of online businesses before trading with them to check if anyone has had any problems with them, or if they have a bad reputation.

Google never forgets, and a search for "Cornwall Electricals" is likely to ring warning bells to a number of your prospective future customers. You just can't call unhappy customers "idiots". You also spoke about your business being close to bankruptcy in another thread - not a word that instils confidence in potential customers either.

You know what? No customer could have damaged the image of your business anything like as effectively as you have just done yourself. Do you think you come across as the sort of person someone would want to do business with?

Are they run by a 17 year old spotty kid, who's Daddy put all the money up for him? Certainly seem so from the coversation here! :)

You might care to comment on the observations made in several forums about the business, such as here:

formatting link
?p=6402662Your website used to state:

"Cornwall Electricals - Penzance. Founded in 2008, Cornwall Electricals has many years experience in the Electrical Goods sector"

Now it states "Cornwall Electricals has been established since 2005"

And yet the company was incorporated just this month:

Date of Incorporation: 11/02/2008

How does a business established for just a few weeks qualify as having "many years experience"?

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember snipped-for-privacy@cucumber.demon.co.uk (Andrew Gabriel) saying something like:

Sure it's not a forgery?

From his language I'd guess nearer 13 not 17. I think we've all been had by a kid playing troll games who probably hasn't got anything to do with Cornwall Electricals. I wouldn't be surprised if Cornwall Electricals doesn't even know this thread exists!

This thread is getting freaky and going from bad to worse. People who have never posted on this group before just seem to be popping out of thin air posting messages saying how wonderful Cornwall Electricals are. Interesting that they all seem to be from people with Hotmail addresses, posted via Google groups and have the same grammatical structure. Could almost be the same person making up fake good reports.

Cornwall Electricals are starting to sound more and more scary to me, more dodgy by the minute. What is next a endorsement from the Pope?

Not given the content of the website. It's clear that some text is written by someone with a good command of English and much is written by someone with the same grammatical c*ck-ups as the person writing here.

Apart from being written in a sumilar style, with similar grammatical and spelling errors, your post came from the same PC as snipped-for-privacy@hotmail.com - bit of a giveaway really.

Pathetic.

Look at the headers... snipped-for-privacy@hotmail.com, snipped-for-privacy@hotmail.co.uk and snipped-for-privacy@hotmail.co.uk are all the same poster.

A google search on "Cornwall Electricals" is slightly amusing if you're bored;-)

The lowest watermark of a business is when someone starts trying to forge positive reviews. It does make one wonder about the "Store Reviews" on the website.

I see what you mean :-)

Like I said earlier, it is always worth while doing a Google search on any online companies before parting with money. There are too many con merchants and dodgy dealers about.
