Conservatory Floor

All, I'm looking at building/erecting a conservatory in the near future. All examples I have seen have solid concrete floors with some kind of insulation in them admitidly. However is it possible or worth having a suspended wooden floor for ease of running pipes and wires etc and insulation purposes ?

Cheers Gary

I have a suspended wooden floor in mine. However, it has an unusual construction, as the base is metal framed, rather than concrete.

There's no reason not to have a suspended wooden floor in a more conventional conservatory, though. It is just usually more expensive than a concrete floor and may even be thicker, as you need some circulating airspace beneath the boards and insulation, which will require ventilation with airbricks.
