Ceramic tiling college courses

Do they exist or is tiling considered so easy that courses are not necessary?

I can't find any locally but some of the tiling I've seen over the years would suggest that they are needed!

I'm half way through tiling my bathroom. I'm quite fussy and would class my work so far as *just about* acceptable - no more. I think that with a course, I could have done a much better job.

Just look at some of the DIY tiling jobs in some people's houses - awful ! I think a lot of people class tiling as a easy DIY job - IMHO it's not :-(

Thanks David. There are none round here that I can find and there are some decent colleges here too (East Kent). I'll keep looking now that I know courses do actually exist.

I'm reasonably good at tiling already but I'd quite like to do more unusual, or artistic, tiling and a course on doing it properly wouldn't hurt.

I agree - I've seen some truly horrendous tiling.
